Success factors

What drives success in construction materials exports?

The success factors we work on: getting your products onto construction sites worldwide, easing your cost burden and bringing your brand into projects.

  1. Technical certification and standards management

In international construction tenders, CE marking and sector quality certificates are the first requirement. We manage the application for the eligible part of these high-cost testing and certification expenses and plan your products’ technical acceptance process.
  2. Project-focused market analysis

We use data to track which countries have a housing or infrastructure push under way. We base your export route on customs data, regional construction reports and competitor analysis to help you reach the right target audience.
  3. TURQUALITY® and brand prestige

We aim to take your product beyond being a standard material and build brand value that prestigious projects prefer. By setting up a corporate structure to TURQUALITY® standards, we help you compete with global rivals on the strength of trust in your brand.
  4. Managing logistics and warehousing costs

For overseas warehousing costs, we plan to cover the eligible part of the warehouse rent with Overseas Unit Rent Support (Yurt Dışı Birim Kira Desteği); freight costs are not supported. By managing the costs of your local presence in target markets through grant programmes, we aim to support your profitability.
  5. Sales channels and partner structure

We support you in building strategic links with architectural practices, contractor groups and DIY retail chains. We work to find distributors to represent your brand in target markets and to build lasting B2B sales networks.
  6. Global visibility and promotion support

We plan which incentives can be used for the high costs of the world’s leading construction trade fairs and digital promotion. As you take your brand to a global audience, we run the grant application for the eligible part of your marketing spend.
Sourcing

Sourcing building materials from Türkiye

According to TİM, Türkiye exported USD 3.03 billion of cement, glass, ceramics and clay products from January to August 2026; the US and Italy take 22.7%. On a construction project, CE marking (CPR 305/2011) and lead times decide whether a supplier works for you. Through Import Consulting, FIX finds Turkish building materials manufacturers, checks their certificates and capacity, and manages quotations and samples on your behalf.

  • Manufacturer search: we list producers of cement, glass, ceramics and clay products for your specification (mostly HS chapters 25 and 68 to 70).
  • Certificate check: we review CE (CPR 305/2011) and ETA documents, test reports and references, and tell manufacturers from intermediaries.
  • Quotation comparison: we set offers side by side in one report, then negotiate price, MOQ, payment terms and Incoterms for you.
  • Samples and introduction: we handle correspondence and sampling and, with your approval, introduce you directly to the supplier you choose.

With FIX

How does FIX work with construction materials companies?

We bring together the technical certification, market intelligence and financial support the sector needs under a single strategy.

We aim to take your products beyond local building material and make them prestigious building blocks of global construction.

  1. Operational agility and technical compliance

We manage the CE, ETA and local building certification processes that are critical in construction materials exports. We plan compliance with target markets’ safety and quality standards from the start and address technical barriers early as your products reach global projects.
  2. Data-driven market intelligence

We use data to analyse which regions’ construction projects and architectural practices need your products. By examining regional housing and infrastructure investment, we base your export route on field intelligence and plan a data-driven market entry that anticipates risk.
  3. Strategic financing and grants

We plan which government incentives can be used for your high-cost product testing, promotion and sample shipping costs. From international trade fairs to office and warehouse rents, we map the eligible processes to suitable support programmes. We then run the application for the part of your growth budget that qualifies.

How do you export construction materials?

Exporting construction materials starts with choosing the right target market based on data and completing requirements such as CE marking (CPR 305/2011) before shipment.

  • Product and capacity analysisWe clarify your product group (mostly HS chapters 25 and 68 to 70), your production capacity and your export readiness.
  • Target market selectionWe match the large and fast-growing markets in TİM data with your product and set the order of priority.
  • Regulatory and document complianceWe plan target market requirements such as CE (CPR 305/2011) and the testing and certification steps.

  • Support planningWe plan trade fair, promotion, certification and market research costs around the right government support.

What government support is there for construction materials exports?

A significant share of construction materials companies’ export costs can be financed through government support. Examples include testing and certification, overseas warehouse rent and construction trade fairs. Support is open to companies registered in Türkiye. Foreign investors can apply once they have set up a company in Türkiye.

The right support depends on the cost item and company size; the relevant institution makes the final decision, and we prepare your application in its strongest form for that assessment.

  • Support for overseas warehousing costsOverseas warehouse rent is one of the major burdens in construction materials exports. We plan Overseas Unit Rent Support (Yurt Dışı Birim Kira Desteği) for it and manage the application. This eases the cost of holding local stock in the target market.
  • Product testing and certification grantsWe plan Market Entry Certificate Support (Pazara Giriş Belgesi Desteği) for the high-cost laboratory tests and certification needed to meet international standards. When part of the certification cost is covered by support, technical compliance puts less strain on your budget.
  • Global visibility and trade fair promotion supportWe plan suitable incentives for the high participation costs of the world’s leading building and construction trade fairs. We manage the applications for International Trade Fair Support (Yurt Dışı Fuar Desteği) and promotion support. The applications cover your stand, trade fair material shipping and digital promotion costs.

What should you watch out for in construction materials exports?

  • Technical certification and standards management: The first condition for taking part in international construction tenders and projects is technical certification. Getting CE, ETA and market-specific quality certificates right first time speeds up your products’ technical acceptance.
  • Project-focused market analysis and intelligence: In construction materials, success comes not from general sales but from getting into large-scale housing and infrastructure projects. By using data to track which country has which construction push, we build your export route around architectural practices and contractor groups.
  • Local presence and warehousing strategy: In a sector with heavy, bulky products, speed is the biggest competitive advantage. Supplying from a local warehouse or showroom in the target market shortens delivery times and makes it easier to keep to the contractor’s site schedule.
  • Document timeline: Planning testing and certification time backwards from the project delivery date prevents delays in the site schedule.
  • Support timing: Planning eligible expenditure before any payment is made means you don’t lose support you’re entitled to.
