What drives success in automotive exports?
The strategic criteria we work on to help you build a lasting place in the global automotive market as a spare parts and OEM supplier.
-
IATF 16949 and quality standards management
In automotive exports, a quality certificate is not optional; it is the first requirement for becoming an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) supplier. We manage your sector certification processes, above all IATF 16949, with government incentives. That prepares you to join the approved supplier lists of global manufacturers. -
OEM and Tier-1 market intelligence
We use data to analyse which global automotive brands or system suppliers (Tier-1) need your product group. We design your export route not just by country but around specific production projects and the supply needs of individual plants. -
Global supply chain (GSC) integration
To join the global supply chains of the world’s leading automotive players, you need machinery, software and technology investments. We plan which grant programmes of up to 50% can be used for them and prepare the application file. The goal is to bring your production line up to world standards. -
Logistics and JIT strategy
In automotive, errors and delays are not acceptable. We manage the application for the eligible part of the rent on warehouses or distribution centres you set up in target markets. The aim is to strengthen your “just in time” delivery infrastructure. -
R&D and prototype financing
With incentives, we ease the high engineering costs of designing a new part or developing lightweighting technology. By managing the application for the eligible costs of prototype production and mandatory safety tests, we aim to take pressure off your innovation budget. -
Intellectual property and brand protection
We manage your grant application for the eligible part of the international patent registration costs of the parts you design and the technologies you develop. By managing the registration processes that protect your brand in the global market, we aim to support your competitiveness.
Sourcing from Turkish auto parts manufacturers
Türkiye’s automotive industry exported USD 27.21 billion from January to August 2026, according to TİM, and its top five markets, all in Europe, take 54.5%. In this sector, IATF 16949 certification is the entry ticket to OEM and Tier-1 supply chains. Through Import Consulting, FIX finds Turkish automotive parts manufacturers for your specification and volume, checks their quality certificates and capacity, and manages quotations and samples.
- Manufacturer search: we list Turkish parts makers against your technical specification, target price and annual volume (mostly HS chapter 87).
- Quality check: we review IATF 16949 and E-mark documents, test reports and references, and check plant and capacity details.
- Quotation comparison: we set offers side by side in one report, then negotiate price, MOQ, payment terms and Incoterms for you.
- Samples and introduction: we handle correspondence and sampling and, with your approval, introduce you directly to the supplier you choose.

How does FIX work with automotive companies?
We plan your production line’s compliance with international regulations and run the applications for government support available for your export operations. We do the work with you, in the field.
-
Operational agility and IATF compliance
We know the automotive sector’s zero-defect quality culture and have built the way we work around it. We manage your compliance with the quality standards global vehicle manufacturers require, IATF 16949 above all. At every stage from customs to shipment, we help you see technical barriers in advance and act on time. We know that time is more than money: it means never stopping the line. -
In-depth OEM and market insight
We don’t stop at general market reports; we analyse which next-generation vehicle projects and which global production bases will create demand for your product group. We examine the supply needs of OEM and Tier-1 players in the target market, regional parts trends and competitor pricing. We base your export route on concrete project data, not assumptions, and plan a data-driven market entry. -
Financial strength and government support
We identify which government incentives can be used for the sector’s largest cost items: tooling, testing, samples and R&D. We manage the support processes, from Global Supply Chain (GSC) projects to warehouse rent support and from overseas promotion to quality certificates. We also plan for incentives to cover the eligible part of your investment budget.

How do you export automotive products?
Exporting automotive products starts with choosing the right target market based on data and completing requirements such as IATF 16949 and E-mark approval before shipment.
The decisive step is reaching the person who makes the purchasing decision directly. FIX runs contact with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers, market data and government support planning in a single team; we don’t stop at a report, we implement the process with you.
- Product and capacity analysisWe clarify your product group (mostly HS chapter 87), your production capacity and your export readiness.
- Target market selectionWe match the large and fast-growing markets in TİM data with your product and set the order of priority.
- Regulatory and document complianceWe plan target market requirements such as IATF 16949 and E-mark approval, and the testing and certification steps.
- Direct contact with buyersWe reach the people who make the buying decision and manage meetings and quotations with you.
- Support planningWe plan trade fair, promotion, certification and market research costs around the right government support.
What government support is there for automotive exports?
A significant share of automotive companies’ export costs, such as R&D and prototyping, testing and certification, and overseas warehousing, can be financed through government support. Support is open to companies registered in Türkiye. Foreign investors can apply once they have set up a company in Türkiye.
The right support depends on the cost item and company size; the relevant institution makes the final decision, and we prepare your application in its strongest form for that assessment.
- Global Supply Chain (GSC) SupportOn the way to becoming an approved supplier to automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), you invest in machinery, equipment, software and technology. We manage the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Project application process for these investments. The support eases the pressure on your cash flow from the high-cost investments that bring your production line up to global standards.
- Design, R&D and prototype development fundsDeveloping a new part design, lightweighting technology or an electric vehicle component involves engineering hours and prototype costs. We plan the right support programmes for these costs (TÜBİTAK 1501 and 1507 grants for SMEs; KOSGEB’s repayable Strategic Product Support Programme for domestic production) and manage the application. That way, incentives cover part of the development cost.
- Support for overseas units, warehouses and retail presenceIn automotive, “just-in-time” (JIT) delivery often requires a warehouse or service point abroad. You may lease a warehouse, office or technical service centre there. We manage the Overseas Unit Rent Support (Yurt Dışı Birim Kira Desteği) application for its rent. This eases the cost of operating like a local supplier in the target market.
What should you watch out for in automotive exports?
- Approved OEM and Tier-1 supplier status: In automotive exports, the real goal is not selling individual parts. It is getting onto the approved lists of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) or top-tier system suppliers (Tier-1). We manage technical qualification and certification such as IATF 16949 in detail and lay the groundwork for a lasting place in global brands’ production chains.
- Data-driven project and production tracking: The automotive market is no longer read country by country but through brands’ next-generation vehicle projects. We use market data to identify which new models and production plants will create demand for your product group. Then we build your export route around those projects with data.
- JIT-ready logistics and local stock: In automotive, the customer’s production line must not stop. That is why we set up, from the start, the logistics infrastructure and warehouse management needed for “just-in-time” delivery in the target market. Working close to your customer’s time zone and location is how you stay a reliable supplier.
- Document timeline: Planning certification and approval time backwards from the first series delivery prevents delays in the OEM schedule.
- Support timing: Planning eligible expenditure before any payment is made means you don’t lose support you’re entitled to.
